Installing Fonts

Mac
Your file has been downloaded in a compressed format.The font may automatically decompress. If it does not automatically, unzip the (.zip) archive to gain access to the font.

To install your new fonts, copy the font to your Font Folder: System> Library> Fonts. You can also use the FontBook application to place them for you. FontBook comes with your Mac.

PC
[Windows XP]
Your file has been downloaded in a compressed format. The font may automatically decompress. If it does not automatically, unzip the archive to gain access to the font.

To install your new fonts, select them in the List of Fonts. To do so, select: Main> Control Panel> Fonts. Go to the File menu & select "Install New Font" go to the directory that holds your fonts in the "List of Fonts" menu and select your fonts. Click OK and they will install into your system.

[Windows Vista]

To install your new fonts, select them in the List of Fonts. To do so, select: Start> Control Panel> Appearance and Personalization> Fonts. Right click on the "List of Fonts" in the Fonts window and select "Install New Font." Go to the font folder holding the new fonts and select your fonts. Click OK and they will install into your system.

3rd Party Software

Font utility applications manage fonts on your system including installing new fonts. If you are using a 3rd party font utility program like Extensis Suitcase Fusion, Extensis Font Reserve or Adobe Type Manager Deluxe, you may install new fonts using their automated processes. In that case, use their installation instructions.

ReadyType™ Fonts are created in the OpenType format to work cross platform with Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX. Legacy versions of both software platforms can handle OpenType fonts with thee assistance of Adobe Type Manager.

ReadyType.com is a software distribution devision of ReadyType, LLC and is the exclusive retailer & distributer of ReadyType, LLC licensed fonts. The term "Font Software" includes any and all updates, upgrades, expansions, modified versions and working copies of the Font Software to which the licensee, i.e. a person or legal business entity has accordingly been granted a license. The Font Software perpetually remains the property of ReadyType, LLC. ReadyType, LLC is the company. ReadyType.com is the retail devision of the company. ReadyType™ is the brand of Font Software sold through ReadyType.com & owned by ReadyType, LLC.
